    Les Ambianceuses

    La première compagnie de danse et de théâtre Afro Urbaine en France, a été créée par Maïimouna Coulibaly en 2003.

    Les Ambianceuses regroupent des femmes de toutes origines, d'âges, de milieux sociaux et de morphologies différents. C'est ce qui fait la force de ce groupe de femmes qui incarnent une féminité libérée et assumée. Engagées politiquement, antiracistes et féministes, la compagnie accueille toutes les femmes et minorités de genre.

    Elles s'engagent également dans des projets socio-culturels en proposant des ateliers auprès de jeunes dans des collèges et quartiers de Saint-Denis (93) et de Grigny (91) pour le projet Grigny Harmony. La compagnie est influencée par les danses traditionnelles et la philosophie d'Afrique de l'Ouest, Afrobeat et Dancehall.

    Les Ambianceuses incarnent un réel mélange de gaieté, d'originalité et de sensualité. Elles n'ont qu'une devise : «Laissez la fièvre vous envahir ! »
